First Shooting with Maeva: a vintage inspired outfit

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure to do my very first shooting with Maeva, whom I met some months ago, thanks to the theatre play in which we both play (by the way, I’m very excited about it and can’t wait to tell you more!)

Tea Time at Weibel

We spent about an hour shooting in the centre of Aix before going to our rehearsal, but we still took the time to sit down and have a matcha latte and a pastry at Weibel: a lemon tart for Maeva, and for me, the one and only, the Aixois, with its rich calisson cream… yum! It’s one of the rare pastries my delicate gluten-intolerant stomach can bear… with moderation of course! By the way, calissons are a famous culinary specialty from Aix, do try them if you have the chance 😉

I am so happy with our first collaboration and with my outfit

I have to say, I’m more than happy with the result of the shooting. It was kind of a test for both of us: even though I’ve been a model for years, it’s still a new experience for me when I first pose for a new photographer. As for Maeva, she feared I wouldn’t like the result, but I’m happy we both chose to do it, because I love it!

And you, what do you think of this new collab? If you like it, I have good news for you: I’m going to meet her for a second shooting very soon!

My outfit that day:

I’m wearing a dress by Ginger Jackie, a Lena Hoschek jacket, Repetto shoes, a vintage bag, glasses by the Austrian designer Andy Wolf and an Axe Femme hat.

Photos by the great Maeva.
