Scotland – Skye
We started our journey to Skye again, a charming Island, accessible thanks to a bridge connecting it to the coast. We were mesmerized by the site, but with our hectic Schedule, we did not enjoy it fully ; which is really sad considering the beauty and diversity of landscapes Skye offers us.
The charming Stein Inn was our place of benediction : located at the hollow of a fjord, peaceful, we were able to settle down and contemplate a Sunset while sipping on our whiskey flask. This relaxing moment, soothed by the sound of the wind and the sea, inspired me a novel, which I hope to introduce you to very soon, and will be part of a collection on the subject of Scotland.
For the second consecutive time, we did not go to the Fairy pools : not for lack of research…if you have indications to find them, I’m interested ! We even discovered equally superb new spots, like Elgol, and we were able to enjoy Kilt Rock longer.
My favorite memore remains the little stroll to Old Man of Storr, Under a typical scottish weather : winds, rain and most. Nothing better to imagine The good Neighbours hiding in these wild lands.
In Uig, we boarded our sojourn’s second ferry, headed to Harris Island and Lewis.
