Ready or not?
Ready or not ?
It’s the question I asked myself over and over all December : am I ready to leave my PCE incubator, ready to take flight and create my own company ? The answer is YES ! I did it. But I admit, I didn’t expect so much paperwork, so many administrative difficulties, and that it would take up so much of my time and energy that I’d end up publishing almost nothing on either the blog or social networks.
Well, it’s not the only reason : I’m very tired physically lastly, and I had to face a lot of doubts about my professional future… plus, I’m getting really tired of social networks. I don’t enjoy them like I used to. I feel a lot of pressure, striving towards perfection, trying to get more likes. But I’ll get back to this in another long post soon.
In any case, I’m proud of myself (and of the few things accomplished these last two months ;D) and to have overcome my fears and followed through on my projects. Well, now all that’s left is being able to make a long-term living from it 😉 Challenge accepted !
I love this beautiful cloak designed by my friend Vixy and made in Edinburgh by Stewart Christie’s precious little hand so much ! If you looked at my pictures on Instagram and Facebook, you saw I wore it for my wedding. Vixy also used this beautiful golden tweed to make the kilt jackets so that me and my soul twin matched on D-day (I admit I hinted at it when we visited in November 2016).
If you’re following me on Instagram and/or Facebook, you must have seen my last post : from now on, I’ve decided to post on the blog every Saturday (yes yes I know, this was posted on Monday, but it’s the last time ! Teehee~) I can’t post 2 or 3 times a week anymore while managing my various social accounts, plus there’s the photoshoots planning, the writing for my blog posts and other projects (writing a book, keeping up acting…). Where’s my private life gone ? All the more so that I wish to produce quality posts here, and to improve my photos more and more… Quality over quantity, indeed. I hope you’ll like the little changes I’ve worked on during these two months, such as a new graphic charter and a surprise, which a lot of you asked for… Stay tuned;)
My outfit : cloak : Stewart Christie, dress : Lena Hoschek, Shoes : Antoine et Lili, scarf : Farquharson tartan, hat : vintage, glasses : Morel.
