Lately, I’m looking for myself on a style of dress point of view. I love vintage, but I don’t want to wear it everyday either ; even more so as some of my pièces are rather ancient, are fragilized by wear and tear. I don’t especially like reproduction brands. I look for quality and savoir-faire, I like quality fabrics. I do as much as I can to avoid using brands who work with factories delocalized in disadvantaged countries. Factories which respect neither nature, neither their employées. The list of brands meeting the criterias are really rare. About Lolita, fashion I arbored on my skin and in my heart for years( I discovered it in 2004…), it does not tally with myself even if I enjoy its esthetic. But I cannot part ways with my dresses : hence, I am thinking about a new way of wearing them. Here is an outfit really dear to my heart, because it fits all me needs : by the choice of the brands : Lena Hoschek, whose creator uses quality fabrics and créâtes everything in european factories, even the fabrics ( which , of course, induces a cost : this jacket cost me 200£… on sales) and Mary Magdalene, which create Small quantities in their japanese studios. But what I like the most in this floral and autumnal outfit, really is the style. Not really Lolita, not really vintage. That’s simply me. I hope you will appreciate these few pictures !
