Ardvreck castle, Durness beach and Tongue

We left early Stornoway  to take the first ferry to Ullapool to continue our road trip. We drove all day but stopped many times to admire stunning landscapes.

We saw on the road Ardvreck Castle and up to the north we stayed a long time on Durness beach, which was amazing!

We arrived early at Tongue, the city we chose to stay for the night, so we had the time to have a walk in the forest and up to the old ruins tower, where we seated a long time, looking at the loch, drinking some whiskeys in our little harris tweed flask.

I don’t have a lot to say, as we spent most of our time in the car…
